Tony Walsh, sometimes known as Longfella, is one of the UK's most renowned performance poets. He wrote the official poem for CBBC to mark Blue Peter's 60th anniversary, performed it at the Children's BAFTA Awards ceremony and earned a diamond Blue Peter badge. His poems have appeared on TV and radio internationally and have been viewed more than 20 million times on social media.

A Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts and an honorary Doctor of Letters, Tony leads acclaimed poetry workshops with writers of all ages, everywhere from Keswick to Kazakhstan. He lives in Manchester and is a proud Dad to Joe and Katie.
