copland smith

copland smith is a poet, playwright, essayist and musician. He was born in Liverpool in 1953, and spent his childhood on the Wirral, in North Wales and Nigeria. He now lives in South Manchester, where he has been the curator and host of Manchester Poets for several decades. copland has been regularly published in magazines and anthologies, and commended three times in the The Poetry Society’s National Poetry Competition. Semicolon marks his first solo collection since the mid-1990s.
